Bangkok BTS Skytrain Slate Art – Limited Laser-Engraved Collector’s Edition

The Bangkok BTS Skytrain—urban movement on viaducts above the streets of the Thai metropolis.

Above dense road traffic, market districts, towers and illuminated city spaces, the BTS Skytrain moves through Bangkok on raised concrete viaducts. These elevated routes form an unmistakable part of the cityscape and create a second transport level above the streets.

The Bangkok Edition transfers this urban rail culture onto natural black slate. At its centre is a detailed full side-view illustration of a BTS Skytrain. Its clearly structured carriage shape, doors, windows and technical elements have been precisely developed for laser engraving.

The light engraving creates a strong contrast against the dark stone surface. This visual tension recalls Bangkok after dark, where concrete, artificial light, traffic and vertical infrastructure combine into a dense urban system.

The Bangkok Edition is strictly limited to only 25 pieces worldwide. Each plaque is individually numbered 01/25 to 25/25 on the reverse and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.

This edition is made for Skytrain enthusiasts, train writers, graffiti and street-art fans, Bangkok lovers and collectors of distinctive transit systems. It combines the train’s precise technical form with the dense, vertical and constantly moving atmosphere of Bangkok.

The BTS Skytrain is an elevated railway operating on viaducts and is intentionally not described as a subway. The artwork is an independent artistic interpretation of Bangkok Skytrain culture. It contains no official operator logos, route numbers or line identifiers and is not affiliated with any transport company.

Because every plaque is made from genuine natural slate, its surface, edges, stone texture and engraving brightness will vary slightly. These natural differences make each of the 25 pieces unique.

You will receive one laser-engraved Bangkok slate plaque with its Certificate of Authenticity. Display stands, frames and decorative props are not included unless explicitly listed.
