This Chromatica City Series collector edition translates the visual energy of New York City transit culture into a physical urban-art object: a detailed side-view subway illustration permanently laser-engraved into natural black slate.

The light engraving stands against the dark stone surface, while the naturally broken edges and subtle differences in texture make every plaque slightly different. The edition is strictly limited to 25 pieces.

Each New York City slate plaque is individually numbered on the reverse from 01/25 to 25/25 and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity. Once the 25-piece edition is complete, this format is closed.

The artwork is engraved into genuine natural black slate in an approximately 30 × 20 cm landscape format. Natural texture, edge shape, surface tone and engraving appearance can vary slightly from piece to piece. Those variations are part of the material and make every plaque an individual object rather than a perfectly uniform factory panel.
