Barcelona Metro Slate Art – Limited Laser-Engraved Train Culture Edition

Barcelona has two distinctly different levels: the bright city of beaches, grid-pattern streets and dense architecture—and the Metro underneath, connecting neighbourhoods, public squares and urban scenes. Tunnels, tiled stations, platforms and clearly designed trains create the city’s fast underground rhythm.

The Barcelona Edition transfers this Metro DNA onto a permanent urban art object made from natural black slate. At its centre is a detailed full side-view illustration of a Barcelona Metro train. Its doors, windows, carriage structure and technical linework have been precisely developed for laser engraving.

The dark stone creates a strong contrast with the Mediterranean surface of the city. Its rough texture recalls concrete, walls, tunnels and industrial urban spaces, while the light engraving lifts the train artwork clearly from the material.

The Barcelona Edition is strictly limited to only 25 pieces worldwide. Each slate plaque is individually numbered 01/25 to 25/25 on the reverse and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Because every plaque is made from genuine natural slate, its surface, edges, stone texture and engraving brightness will vary slightly. These natural differences are intentional and make every piece unique.

You will receive one laser-engraved Barcelona slate plaque with its Certificate of Authenticity. Display stands, frames and decorative props are not included unless explicitly listed.
